The UC Davis Health 48X Complex project addresses a shortage in operating room capacity at UC Davis Health’s main campus in Sacramento. R+C served as structural engineer of record for the 268,000 sf facility whose program includes specialty operating rooms, diagnostic imaging and treatment spaces, clinics, pharmacies, and support spaces. Our scope also included supporting state-of-the art surgical and imaging equipment and collaborating with MEPFT and exterior wall subcontractors in finding ways of expediting the construction schedule.
