Structural Engineering
642,000 sf
- Designed to LEED Silver
- Received OSHPD approval of structural drawings within nine months of submittal
Rutherford + Chekene has a long history of involvement as the structural engineer on the Vallejo site. The major expansion included a new five-story, 457,000 sf, 188-bed hospital tower and 60,000 sf of new construction and renovation to the existing tower. The project also included a four-story, 50,000 sf medical office building and a 45,000 sf non-OSHPD-reviewed multipurpose building. We completed more than 30,000 sf of new construction to the central utility plant to service the facility expansion.
