Anna Babchanik

Geotechnical Staff Engineer

Anna joined R+C after earning her master’s degree in Mechanics and Computation from Stanford University. Her experience spans dam safety, numerical modeling, seismic hazard analysis, and site reconnaissance. She also brings a research background in geomechanics, levee performance, and machine learning applications. Anna is an active member of the engineering community and has been involved with the Earthquake Engineering Research Institute (EERI) and Structural Engineers Association of Northern California (SEAONC). She currently serves as Vice Co-Chair of the SEAONC Young Members Forum (YMF) for the 2026–27 year.
