Located within the 1980s HCAI-1 patient tower at the UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital Oakland campus, the MRI Replacement project required the team to navigate numerous constraints, such as limited floor-to-floor height and a tight footprint.
R+C’s Building Systems Group (BSG) utilized their in-depth knowledge of specialty healthcare spaces and experience with complex renovations to deliver coordinated, tailored solutions that accounted for the unique existing conditions while meeting the needs of all disciplines involved.
