Rutherford + Chekene is providing structural design services for a new biomedical and technology business park campus. The project replaces two existing buildings with a 465,000 sf building composed of a 12-story tower and an atrium connecting to a five-story structure. A 48,000 sf amenity building will house a cafe, restaurant and fitness center. The project includes two levels of below-grade parking for 700 cars. R+C is also beginning design for another office/laboratory campus in Foster City for this developer client.
