The 120,000 square foot building includes teaching facilities from lecture halls to small-group discussion areas to a 350-person conference center. It also provides a 21st century biomedical library with 90 percent of its content in digital format and a new Center for Immersive and Simulation-Based Learning. The contract includes renovation of 75,000 square feet in the Lane and Alway buildings and connective elements to the medical center campus. The project used BIM for advanced design and coordination.
