The 100,000 square foot Molecular Foundry provides for nanoscale research and fabrication. The facility supports the materials science, physics, chemistry, biology and molecular science programs. The six-story building cantilevers over the sloping hillside, utilizing a soil-nailing retaining wall combined with steel frame construction. R&C provided structural services for the LEED Gold project.
