Bart Dublin/Pleasanton Station

Set among the rolling hills of East Contra Costa County, the Dublin/Pleasanton train station features a distinctive undulating metal roof that mimics the surrounding landscape. R+C provided structural and civil engineering design for this new structure that houses a below-grade concourse, an elevated platform and trackways situated within the median of Interstate Highway 580. In coordination with the California Department of Transportation, the design team modified the adjacent Dougherty Overhead and the I-580 median and designed aerial structures adjacent to the station that span above a future light rail corridor.
