Bart Parking Structure Retrofits

The Bay Area Rapid Transit District engaged R&C as prime contractor to perform the seismic evaluation and retrofit design of five existing parking structures using non-linear static analysis techniques. The structures are located in Concord, Daly City, El Cerrito del Norte, Walnut Creek and Hayward. They range from three to five stories and consist of concrete shear wall or moment frame construction. The retrofit construction cost is $12.8 million.
