Wayne Wong

Since joining R&C in 1986, Wayne has served as principal structural engineer on numerous prominent projects. He leads the firm's nonstructural design group and specializes in healthcare, with an emphasis on seismic anchorage for nonstructural components and equipment.

Notable projects in Wayne’s portfolio include the major expansion of Kaiser Permanente Healthcare's Redwood City, Vallejo, and Vacaville campuses, renovations and remodels for the California Pacific Medical Center, and the UC San Francisco Mt. Zion Clinical expansion.

Wayne maintains constant involvement during the construction phase of his projects. His clients appreciate his thorough knowledge of the OSHPD process and regulations and his extensive experience with nonstructural design.
