Richard Denio

Rich has built a diverse portfolio during his 16-year career. His work includes new design, retrofit and renovation, seismic evaluations, and peer reviews and plan checks. He has managed projects using Integrated Project Delivery, design/build, and BIM as integral components of R&C’s services.

Rich is deeply committed to working with his project design teams to improve constructability and produce efficient designs. His key projects include the new Kaiser Permanente Medical Center in Redwood City, the UC Davis Maurice J. Gallagher Jr. Hall, the B.F. Sisk Courthouse conversion, and the New de Young Museum. His other project experience includes airports, laboratories, educational and institutional facilities, historic structures, and military facilities. Additionally, Rich has extensive experience designing foundations and deep foundations systems, as well as shoring and underpinning systems. Rich is currently chairman of the board of the Structural Steel Educational Council.
