Francisco has 20 years of experience in design and construction of infrastructure projects for the institutional, healthcare and industrial sectors. Since joining R&C in 2000, he has focused on healthcare and institutional clients, with an emphasis on new hospital building design. He helps his clients navigate the agency review and construction phases of OSHPD projects. His expertise also includes implementation of base isolation and energy dissipation systems in new buildings.

Francisco currently manages the structural design team for the Mills-Peninsula Medical Center and the Dameron Hospital addition. Francisco’s past work includes award-winning landmark projects, such as the Ferry Building Marketplace renovation and the New de Young Museum, as well as state-of-the-art laboratories for the Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory and UC Santa Cruz. Francisco also provides nonlinear analysis guidance and training to engineers just beginning their careers with R&C, helping them develop practical solutions to complex analysis problems.
