Dom Campi    Dominic Campi

Dom has managed a broad scope of projects during his 30 years with R&C. His projects have included institutional and healthcare facilities, libraries, commercial facilities, and seismic upgrades and evaluations. Dom recently served as principal structural engineer for the Milpitas and Walnut Creek libraries. He is currently principal structural engineer for the Southside Police Substation in San Jose.

As an executive at R&C, Dom advises engineers on technical issues arising from projects. Dom recently served as the expert structural engineer on FEMA-427: Primer for Design of Commercial Buildings to Mitigate Terrorist Acts and currently serves on the Lateral Force Subcommittee of ASCE 7. His history of code and guideline development includes service on the Structural Engineers Association of California (SEAOC) Seismology Committee, which authored the seismic provisions of the SEAOC Blue Book that form the basis of the 1997 Uniform Building Code chapter on seismic provisions.
