Claire Moore
Claire began her career as an intern at R&C 10 years ago while finishing her graduate degree in structural engineering at UC Berkeley. At R&C, Claire has worked on a wide range of projects and with many types of structural materials. She is currently focusing on the design of trial court buildings in the State of California including new facilities, the retrofit of existing facilities and coordination of efforts within R&C.
As a LEED-accredited professional, Claire recently managed the structural design team for the UC Berkeley Boalt Hall Infill project, designed to meet LEED Gold standards; and the Aquarium of the Pacific's Molina Animal Care Center, a LEED-registered project designed to Platinum standards. Claire managed the structural design team for the Stanford School of Medicine's Li Ka-Shing Center for Learning and Knowledge and the associated below grade connective elements projects. Her diverse portfolio includes high-rise peer reviews for the City of Seattle, the transitional coral reef tank for the California Academy of Sciences, the First Presbyterian Church expansion in downtown Berkeley and work on many R&C-designed hospital buildings in California.
