Claire began her career at R&C nine years ago as an intern. A LEED-accredited professional, Claire has been involved in furthering R&C's green practice by incorporating sustainable elements into construction specifications. She specializes in the management and structural design of green projects. Her current work includes the UC Berkeley Boalt Hall Infill project, which was designed to meet LEED Gold standards, and the Aquarium of the Pacific’s Molina Animal Care Center, a LEED-registered project aiming for Platinum certification.
Claire recently managed the structural design team for the Stanford School of Medicine’s Li Ka-Shing Center for Learning and Knowledge and for the connective elements project related to the building. Her portfolio is also comprised of a variety of project types including high-rise peer reviews for the city of Seattle, the transition coral reef tank for the California Academy of Sciences, and the First Presbyterian Church expansion in downtown Berkeley. Within R&C, Claire is actively involved in engineering staff training.
