Bruce joined R&C in 1992. He has served as structural engineer on several aquarium projects, including the Monterey Bay Aquarium Outer Bay Waters Wing, the new Aquarium of the Pacific, the Shedd Aquarium renovations and addition, and the recently completed California Science Center Kelp Forest Exhibit.

He has designed geometrically intriguing projects, including several large public sculptures. In addition to new work, Bruce devotes time to retrofit projects, seismic evaluations and peer reviews. His recently completed projects include the award-winning Roosevelt Community Center in San Jose, the Milpitas Public Library, the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Memphis, and three new public health buildings for Santa Clara Valley.

Bruce regards each project as unique and enjoys sharing knowledge he gains with engineers and clients who work with him. He is currently at work on the San Leandro Senior Center, the San Jose Environmental Innovation Center, and facilities for Kaiser’s new San Leandro Medical Complex.
