Ann Roche
Ann has a 20-year career as a structural engineer and is recently LEED accredited. Since joining R&C in 1998, Ann has managed structural teams for the sustainably designed Turtle Bay Museum and Arboretum in Redding and the award-winning C.V. Starr East Asian Library at UC Berkeley. Ann's current work includes the new Kaiser Permanente Medical Center in San Leandro. Her past healthcare work includes nonstructural compliance to California Senate Bill 1953 for Sutter Health, Stanford Medical Center and Children’s Hospital Oakland.
Ann has a strong interest in historic restorations and has performed feasibility studies for the San Francisco Cannery and the Presidio Officers' Club. She is a member of the California Preservation Foundation, California’s only statewide nonprofit for historic preservation.
Ann maintains an interest in museum facilities. In addition to her museum design experience, she holds a fine arts degree. She is a member of the International Association of Museum Facility Administrators and has toured most museums in the Bay Area. Within R&C, Ann manages noontime educational seminars and has served as intern coordinator.
