Rutherford & Chekene's work as a prime consultant includes
retrofit designs, seismic assessments and peer reviews of several
facilities for organizations like the Department of General Services
and the Department of Corrections, utilizing new programs like
Revit for advanced structural solutions. We have also served as
prime contractor in the performance of plan checks for OSHPD and
DSA and have performed seismic evaluations of numerous embassy
and other State Department buildings for the United States Overseas
Buildings Operations. R&C is also currently serving as the
Supervising Structural Engineer for the Court Building Seismic
Assessment Program for the Judicial Council of California's Administrative
Office of the Courts and as a Joint Venture prime for the Federal
GSA in seismic/structural/blast engineering projects. Prime consultant
responsibilities include setting project direction, establishing
schedules, overseeing subconsultant activities and budgets, and
interacting with all parties involved to ensure that the project
is completed within owner expectations. |
